Cloud Technlogy group is responsible for software that runs CDN, one of the world’s largest distributed platforms. The group develops software which streams biggest online events e.g. World Cup Soccer, Olympics, and major sporting and entertainment events.

You will be tasked with solving critical software automation and verification problems in a distributed systems environment. Working with developers and QA teams you will become an expert in system-wide automation infrastructure.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to system test plans to ensure highly effective test coverage
- Creating and deploying automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios
- Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment; Improving testing methodologies/procedures to enhance test automation efficiency.
- Taking a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation, and analysis
- Maintaining and enhancing programmatic CI/CD pipeline.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 0-2 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Have demonstrated experience in developing test automation in Python, Java or any other language
- Be passionate about solving large scale distributed systems problems.
- Enjoy working as a team, collaborating, and solving problems with others.
- Have exposure or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.
- Have good knowledge of Jenkins, groovy, CI/CD system.
