Roles and Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Ensure that a healthy security posture is maintained by continuously assessing/monitoring perimeter as well as internal security posture.
- Work as a member of the SOC team to monitor different platforms for threat hunting
- Work on Incident detection, analysis, and response
- Triage findings from our public and private bug bounty program and work with teams to mitigate issues
- Perform security assessments of production corporate and cloud infrastructure
- Build automated solutions for continuous audits to validate systems against central security policies
- Build, Review and investigate alerts generated from Cloud security tools and escalate as appropriate
- Automating manual tasks and designing an efficient approach to security
Skills and Eligibility:
- 1+ years of experience in information security
- The coding experience for automation
- Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center environment conducting network, host, or threat analysis
- Experience analyzing raw log files, particularly logs from the network or host-based security tools, packet captures Incident detection, analysis, and response using leading SIEM platforms
- Experience with incident analysis and response methodologies in investigations and the groups behind targeted attacks and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)
- Proactively hunting threats, blue teaming, performing exploit and vulnerability research, all in order to find and close holes exploited by bad actors
- Engineering approaches to harvest security data, converting that data into actionable intelligence, and collaborating with the technical teams to act on that intelligence
- Locating trends in abuse vectors, communicating with leadership to apprise of extent, and advocating for appropriate product changes to prevent future occurrences
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda; relevant experience with AWS cloud security is highly preferred
- Review and enhance Service Control Policies and IAM by assessing, developing, implementing, optimizing, and documenting a comprehensive and broad set of security technology solutions
- Build, Review and investigate alerts generated from Cloud security tools and escalate as appropriate
- Understanding of Content Delivery Network (CDN) configuration, maintenance, and best practices (Cloudflare or similar)
