Job Profile: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) – Automation + Manual

Salary: ₹ 10 Lakhs to ₹ 17.3 Lakhs per year

Job Location: Remote (Must be based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai)

Role in a Nutshell:

As an SDET at BrowserStack, you will be responsible for executing quality engineering tasks, including building and executing comprehensive test cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation skills with proficiency in programming and demonstrate a metrics-oriented approach to quality assurance.

Note: This position requires the base location to be in Mumbai. Please apply only if you are currently residing in Mumbai or are willing to relocate to Mumbai.

Desired Experience:

• 0 – 6 months of internship experience in writing automated tests using automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Qtest is preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn NodeJS and Ruby programming languages.
• Foundational knowledge of general QA procedures, methodologies, and software development fundamentals.
• Comfortable and adaptable to working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related) is preferred.

What You Will Do:

• Create, meticulously maintain, and execute detailed test specifications and test cases.
• Perform thorough integrity and regression testing using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.
• Develop and execute automated tests for new and existing features to ensure quality.
• Proactively follow, identify, and implement best practices and opportunities to continuously improve the QA process.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to effectively identify and address high-impact issues.
