Job Description:
We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer – Backend (Java), to join the development team responsible for the development of backend components and Integration of the Pointillist Customer Experience Analytics platform.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Develop and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements towards the features, reliability, performance, and efficiency of GENESYS Cloud/Pointillist.
- Work with development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Have a desire to learn new things.
- Design and implement major changes and new features using Java.
- Leverage AWS technologies for the delivery of solutions is a must.
- Work as part of a cross-functional Agile development team.
- Actively review code and provide peer feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points as well as evangelize best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required.
- Gain an understanding of Pointillist UI and development practices
- Stay up to date on current technology trends, perform proof of concepts, and make recommendations for the adoption of new technology.
