Job Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of cyber defense strategies to safeguard organizational assets against cyber threats.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to assess the effectiveness of existing security controls.
- Assist in incident response activities, including investigating security incidents and implementing remediation measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Document processes, procedures, and findings to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Previous experience in cyber defense roles or internships is preferred.
Additional Information:
- Duration: 6 months
- Immediate joining is preferred for this position
- This role requires on-site presence at our Bangalore office.
