Job Description:
Due to exciting growth, IGS SPS has a position available for a Software Engr I- HCAD at our Pune, India. IGS SPS offers a rewarding career path, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits.
The Software Engr I – HCAD will work in a team of developers in a scrum environment to develop the primary software used by the business to engineer to order material handling systems for their customers. This software is developed in C# .Net to create customized functionality in AutoCAD. This functionality has a direct positive impact on the business by reducing engineering time and errors with automation. The Software Engr I – HCAD takes a holistic approach in understanding program design requirements, and project elements, while meeting internal and external customer expectations for the program design. The Software Engr I – HCAD may assume the role as a team member or a lead with the responsibility of understanding the internal/external requirements and delivering per those requirements.
Key Deliverables:
- Capable of successfully leading engineering activities for small, medium and large complex projects. Ability to work with diverse cultures and customers.
- Quality, standard work, schedule of deliverables, technically responsible for, delivery of project, customer expectation, management, proposal support, direction of stream leads, Responsible for estimating, change requirements using standard, processes and tools from start to completion of each project.
- Delivers the high-level technical solution. Expert knowledge of multiple disciplines.
- Communicates directly with end customers on issues encountered. Also capable of explaining system changes to end customers during a release.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software engineering, Computer sciences, or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with C#
- Full understanding of Sequel databases for management and structure.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
- AutoCAD customisation a Plus.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Abilities:
- Functional checking of code design
- Implementation and checking of pricing and oracle data transfer validation.
- Sequel database data input and querying through code design
- Customer service and support of user base of program
- Release development for update and new enhancements
- Conducting analysis of complex problems to evaluate options and implementing solutions to meet customer expectations
- Communicating, interacting, and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers at all levels while fostering cooperation and teamwork within the department
