Job Description:
- We are looking for enterprising candidate for position of Software Engineer 1 for the Layer 2 control plane Engineering team.
- The candidate should have a strong background in software development and passion to work on networking software for current and next generation routers and switches.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, Innovate and Maintain control plane software for Layer 2 technologies.
• Working on solving customer issues from the field.
Minimum Qualification:
A minimum of B.E or B.Tech from a reputed institution in CS/IT/EE with 1 year of experience is required.
Requirements:
• 1+ year of industry experience in software development
• Programming proficiency in C ,C++ and good understanding of Operating System concepts.
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge in any of the following technologies is a plus
-Layer 2 protocols like LLDP/LACP/STP/LFM/CFM/VRRP/ERP/MVRP
-Access security protocols – dot1x, MACSec, DHCP
-Layer 2 technologies : 802.1Q bridging, VPLS, EVPN, MC-LAG
-Access security protocols – dot1x, MACSec, DHCP.
