Job Description: Our company, MoEngage is seeking an ambitious and talented Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to join our team in India. This position will play a key role in improving the functionality and user experience of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both API and UI automation, with a bonus if they have experience in security and performance testing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for our software solutions.
2. Conduct comprehensive testing of API and UI features of our software.
3. Regularly execute test scripts and analyze the results for bugs and issues.
4. Proactively integrate automated testing protocols into the software development lifecycle to improve product quality.
5. Implement industry best practices in test automation to enhance the efficiency and scope of tests.
6. Collaborate with the development team to understand product expectations and design exhaustive test plans.
7. Document and report any bugs, errors, or other issues discovered during testing.
8. Develop one-off test scenarios for scalability, performance, and security testing.

Optional Responsibilities:

1. Execute security-based and performance-based testing as needed.
2. Collaborate closely with the Product Development team to ensure that the software adheres to best coding practices.
3. Apply analysis to testing results to recommend quality improvements and ensure optimal product functioning.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
2. Proven work experience in the field of software quality assurance, preferably in a mid-sized product company.
3. Extensive experience in software development and software QA.
4. In-depth knowledge of API and UI Testing procedures.
5. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Postman, etc.
6. Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting.
7. Prior experience with performance and security testing tools, methods, and techniques will be advantageous.
8. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
9. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate well within a team.
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
