Job Description:
The Induction/Onboarding Intern will support the HR team in creating a positive and efficient onboarding experience for new employees. The intern will assist in various aspects of the induction and onboarding process, including documentation, coordination, and administrative tasks. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR and develop skills in project management, communication, and interpersonal relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and improvement of onboarding materials and processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records and documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate onboarding activities, including orientations, welcome meetings, and training sessions.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
- Assist in the creation of welcome kits for new employees.
- Conduct post-onboarding surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HR or administrative roles.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems.
- Interest in employee engagement and development.
