Join a collaborative global environment where you will work with a team whose mission is to crush developer complexity with required tooling and enable other teams with Project management and DevOps practices. This small team has a history of successfully creating novel solutions to create and maintain DevOps pipelines for application upgrades both for on premise and cloud deployments, creating innovative solutions for project and test management for development teams including auto logging of automated tests & results, identifying duplicate bugs through ML. This involves creating solutions in both trending and cutting-edge open source technologies including Java, Gradle, Groovy, Jenkins pipelines, Docker, Kubernates and Generative AI as well as building applications on Pega’s cutting edge low code platform.

What You’ll Do at Pega:

• Work as part of a collaborative Agile team working in a SCRUM model surrounded by fun loving talented engineers.
• Work with Product owners and other stake holders along with the team members to design and build exiting features into the product.
• Active participation in technical discussions to advance the capabilities of products and resolve complex issues.
• Ensure that the delivered work meets functional and technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Debug and maintain existing code base.
• Document and follow development standards for all coding.
• Unit test code to ensure technical requirements are satisfied.
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer of information.
• Stay on schedule with assigned tasks and be productive.
• Work on complex issues to design and develop high quality software.

Who You Are:

As a Software Engineer for developer productivity, you will be contributing to the development and/or maintenance of DevOps capabilities for Pega Platform teams. Active participation in various initiatives such development best practices, quality, learning, etc.

• Good understanding of any programming language and design
• Good knowledge of SDLC, data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of AI, ML and Generative AI is an added advantage.
• Working on projects related to Java and Generative AI is an added advantage.
• Code, Build and Release management using GIT, Jenkins.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Pega platform(optional)
