Roles & Responsibilities:

• Development and enhancement of software applications in C++.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
• Implement performance and quality modules.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
• Strong proficiency in C++ 11 or above, with fair knowledge of the language specification.
• Experience of working in linux/Unix system.
• Strong logical and analytical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with templating in C++.
• Knowledge of the latest C++ standards.
• Knowledge of linux system programming, multithreading & IPC.
• Knowledge of linux build system, cmake, shell script.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Gerrit.
• Familiarity with IBM Rational tools like  Doors, Synergy, Jazzccm/RTC.
• Knowledge of design patterns and its usage and tools like Visio.

Desired Skills:

• C / C++
• Working Knowledge in Git, Git Hub
