Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support security investigations and incident response efforts under the guidance of senior analysts.
- Gain hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Participate in security assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements to security controls.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends to contribute to proactive security measures.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Interest in cybersecurity and a basic understanding of security concepts and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret security event data.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in security technologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
