About the Apprentice Role:

S&P global is looking to hire young fresh technology graduates/postgraduates, only 2023 & 2024 Pass-outs for Apprenticeship for a duration for 11 months. This Program will enable the candidates to learn on the job from S&P Global’s experts which in turn will equip the candidates to become more skilled in today’s job market.

The Team:

• The Apprentice will be part of The Enterprise Solutions Technology division includes workflow solutions across Lending, Reg & Compliance, Global Markets and Software business. Enterprise Solutions provides industry-leading set of integrated tools, solutions and data services that help our clients make efficient investment decisions, operate with greater efficiency, and provide transparency across their business and to their key stakeholders.
• We are the catalyst to bring data, software, services, and expertise together to power the markets of the future. With more than 2200 incredibly talented technologists, ES serves over 7,500 customers across 21 market-leading businesses.
• We are looking to hire for various roles including Developer, Dev-Ops Engineer, Automation Test Engineer, and Application Support Engineer.
• These positions offers interesting technical challenges involving working on a very large datasets. You will be designing and developing a scalable, flexible, high-performance solutions using one of the following technology stack .NET, Java, Python, Angular, and Cloud native technologies.
• Key competencies that will need to be developed are around API Development, cloud migrations, Automation Testing, supporting the applications in Production plus knowledge around agile / scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Development using C#/JAVA/Python programming.
• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
• Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Understand the existing solutions, develop/deliver features for the product.
• Testing and deploying programs and systems.
• Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
• Attention to detail.
• Create tech expertise within department.
• Troubleshoots problems or issues and support team in enhancing the workflow/processes for department.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates/postgraduates i.e B.Tech / BCA /BSc CS/ BSc IT/ M.Tech / MCA /MSc CS/Msc IT (Year of passing 2023 and 2024 only)
• Knowledge on Object Oriented Programming (C#/Java/Python), Logical ability / Quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Willing to work on weekend / late in the evenings to have overlap with US / UK time zones.
• You will have to move to the base location and are required to work from the office during your apprentice.
