Job Description: Sportskeeda is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager . The hired person will be a part of the Social Media team, and would work closely with the Social Media Head and the senior management to grow and lead Sportskeeda’s presence on social media.
Responsibilities for Sportskeeda Off Campus Drive
- Preparing a social media content strategy for major platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and developing an outreach strategy for influencer marketing
- Performing regular audit and analysis of Sportskeeda’s social media handles ; Preparing analysis reports and suggesting improvements
- Coordinating with graphic designers for timely delivery of the creatives.
- Handling the posting on social media.
- Reviewing content for factual accuracy and general accuracy of grammar and context; ensuring that content is written as per Sportskeeda’s guidelines & checking spellings, grammar & scope of the text with the editorial team.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of NBA/NFL/MLB
- Desired experience of at least 0-2 years in growing social media
- Staying updated with recent developments in and around the sporting world.
- Staying updated with social media trends, predicting news patterns and timely updates
- Excellent command over the English language is a must.
- Should have a knack for crisp sentence composition, grammar, and syntax.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe CC – mostly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility with working hours as per different time zones
- Note: This position requires to work 6 days per week
