Job Description:
As an Order Management Associate, your role will encompass overseeing seamless transaction processing, cultivating expertise in Quote to Order processes, and providing unparalleled customer service. Additionally, you will play a vital role in Deal Desk operations, ensuring accurate order-to-cash summaries and facilitating smooth transitions from deal negotiations to order fulfillment. Your duties will include:
Order Management Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Efficiently process orders received from VADs, Partners, Contract Specialists, Sales Reps, and Customers across the globe for various Line of Business products and services.
- Quotation Management: Provide timely and accurate quotations for License & First Year support, Quoting & Contracting services, Support Renewals, Education & Hardware products.
- Contract Management: Assist in contract creation, review, and management, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
- Order Tracking: Monitor order status, manage order changes, and ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with relevant teams to manage inventory levels and ensure availability of products for order fulfillment.
- Issue Resolution: Address order-related issues and discrepancies promptly, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to find effective solutions.
- Customer Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing assistance with order inquiries, product information, and order status updates.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline order management processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer experience.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, contracts, and customer interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additional Responsibilities (Revenue Accounting):
As a member of the Revenue Accounting team, you will also:
- Ensure revenue recognition compliance with Corporate and SEC standards.
- Provide guidance to the sales organization on revenue-related matters.
- Assist in processing revenue impacting adjustments and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Monitor revenue, reconcile receivables, and unearned accounts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve revenue inquiries.
- Participate in special projects to enhance process automation and efficiency.
Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in a related Finance & Accounting domain, preferably in Quote to Order processes.
- Communication & Comprehension Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comprehend and articulate complex concepts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in different shifts and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience / 3-4 Years for Senior Analyst
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
- SFDC / Oracle / SAP experience is desired
