TCS Atlas is open exclusively for the postgraduate batch of 2024 with the following academic degrees: M.Sc (Mathematics/Statistics/Economics) and MA (Economics) from Year of Passing (YoP) – 2024.
Application Process:
Step 1. Log in to the TCS NextStep Portal Opens in new tab
Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive
- Scenario A. If you are a registered user under the TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly log in with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
- Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose the category “IT” and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
Step 3. Choose your preferred test center & then click on ‘Apply’.
Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as ‘Applied for Drive’.
Important Note:
- Please note that this is an in-center test, and center allotment would be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- You must have all your latest original academic documents, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if shortlisted for the test).
- Communication related to the test will be informed to you by our test partner, TCS iON.
- TCS does not send job offers/any hiring-related communication from unofficial email IDs like Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, etc.

- Kindly note that we have stringent eligibility criteria and a robust selection process. Your eligibility as per the defined criteria will be checked at various stages of the selection process. At any point in time, if you are found ineligible, or data shared by you is found discrepant, your candidature will be disqualified.
Eligiblity Criteria:
- Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), graduation, and post-graduation examination.
- Highest Qualification: TCS Atlas hiring is exclusively open for candidates from the batch of 2024 with the following academic degrees: – M.Sc (Mathematics/Statistics/Economics) and MA (Economics) from Year of Passing (YoP) – 2024.
- Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: The candidate should not have any pending academic backlogs.
- Extended Education: No extended education would be allowed. Candidates should have completed the course in the stipulated course duration.
- Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. The overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant documentation, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.
- Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).
- Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the graduation and post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time.
- Work Experience: Candidates with 0 – 24 months of experience may apply for TCS Atlas Hiring, however candidates with any prior experience would be required to submit the necessary supporting documents as per TCS requirements.
- Age: Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years to participate in this hiring event.
Role Offer:
- You will play an integral role in Data extraction, Transformation, Feature extraction, and Model Development for basic to moderate complexity of predictive models.
- You will understand the concept behind most of the available tools and techniques, applying them depending on the nature of problems, and understanding their weaknesses and key mitigants.
- You will be working on and understating the various problems and their typical solutions across a string of domains.
- You will learn and work on different types of models, understating and executing best practices in model management and execution.
- You should be an expert in the communications and presentations required of Data Scientists including peer reviews and other publications.
- Knowledge of data science packages such as Python, R, etc. will be vital to your role.
