Job Description
As a member of the Business Development team, you will drive strategic initiatives to identify and onboard key partnerships that enable businesses to excel in a competitive digital world. Combining your market acumen with exceptional relationship-building and analytical skills, you’ll champion the growth of Zoho’s brand and its ecosystem. Your efforts will forge synergies with partners to deliver innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, reinforcing Zoho’s position against industry leaders.
In this role, you will identify, onboard, and collaborate with industry-leading partners to co-develop go-to-market strategies that enhance overall partnership positioning. Key Responsibilities
1. Building Strategic Partnerships
1.1 Research and identify potential partners whose goals align with Zoho’s vision and objectives.
1.2 Evaluate partner capabilities to enhance Zoho’s competitive edge in the SaaS market.
1.3 Develop and execute acquisition strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
2. Strengthening Relationships
2.1 Build and nurture long-term partnerships, ensuring alignment with Zoho’s strategic goals.
2.2 Act as the primary liaison for partner needs, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
3. Driving Strategic Impact
3.1 Collaborate with internal teams to craft and implement joint go-to-market strategies.
3.2 Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial partnership agreements that deliver measurable results.
3.3 Monitor partnership performance and optimize strategies to maximize impact.
4. Leveraging Market Insights
4.1 Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
4.2 Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the leadership team to refine Zoho’s approach to partnerships.
5. Fostering Collaboration
5.1 Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of partner solutions.
5.2 Represent Zoho at partner events and conferences, showcasing the value of Zoho’s ecosystem.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of experience in partner acquisition or business development, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Proven success in establishing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of SaaS markets and experience competing against top industry players.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for data-driven decision-making.
- Flexibility to travel for meetings and industry engagements.
