Role: SDET – Intern
Reports to: Engineering Manager – SDET
Location: Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of competitive programming concepts.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Node.js.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Job description:
- Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to understand software requirements and design appropriate automated scripts.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js or other programming languages.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure testability, maintainability, and efficiency of test scripts.
- Build & maintain CI CD pipelines to be used across the organisation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve identified issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tooling and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation.
